Supercharged greenhouses are made of polymer films. There are two layers of film laid in the greenhouse: an outer layer and an inner layer. Air is blown between the layers of film. Thus an air bag is formed.
For supercharged greenhouses, use at least 150 µm film on the outer layer to maintain its integrity under wind loads.Why do you need a supercharged greenhouse?
There are 2 main reasons for choosing a supercharged greenhouse over a conventional greenhouse.
1. Frost protection.
Warm air is blown into the air bag. This air protects the greenhouse from overcooling during the cold season, so plants can be grown all year round.
2. Snow load protection.
The warm air inside the air bag melts the snow and it runs down the surface of the greenhouse. Thanks to this system, the film does not sag and does not need to be cleared of snow.

Transparent: since the film is laid in two layers, it must have high light transmission (not less than 90% in the area of the FAR);

Wind-and hail-resistant: it does not deform under the influence of climatic conditions;

Long-term: the installation of such a system is labor-intensive, so it is more efficient to install the film 1 time and not change it for several seasons.
