Film for greenhouses SVETLITSA ™
NPF "Shar" produces the SVETLITSA™ film for greenhouses with a service life of 7 years without removal for the winter!
The SVETLITSA™ greenhouse film is a durable, frost—resistant material based on an EVA copolymer. Why do gardeners and agronomists choose this film?
- Reliability. Numerous small cracks form on polyethylene films, which are gradually filled with dust. SVETLITSA™ film is significantly less dusty and does not lose its ability to transmit light.
- Light transmissivity. SVETLITSA™ film transmits light much better than polyethylene films. The light transmittance in the region of physiologically active radiation reaches 92%.
- Hydrophilic effect. Flat and small drops of condensate are formed on the SVETLITSA™ film. Such drops flow down the walls of the greenhouse and do not drip.
- Maintainability. If the film has been subjected to mechanical stress, the construction dryer will repair the damage.
- Heat-retaining effect. During a cold snap, the temperature in the greenhouse remains 2 to 4°C higher than under the polyethylene cover. This microclimate creates the conditions for increased yields.
- Used in any climate conditions. The film withstands hail, sudden temperature changes, harsh, and snowy winters. Even in severe frost, the SVETLITSA ™ greenhouse film retains elasticity. Snow can be removed from the surface of the greenhouse without tearing the film.
- Durability. The SVETLITSA ™ film serves for at least 7 years. The key to the durability of the SVETLITSA ™ film is proper installation and operation as well as the absence of abnormally aggressive external factors.

SVETLITSA™ greenhouse film additives
Additive | Purpose |
UV | The UV additive stabilizes the film and prevents it from breaking under the influence of ultraviolet rays |
IR | The infrared additive allows you to maintain the temperature inside the greenhouse |
AF | The antifog additive attracts moisture, so no drips form in the greenhouse |

SVETLITSA™ greenhouse film
The SVETLITSA ™ copolymer greenhouse film is a durable, frost–resistant material based on polyolefins (EVA, mLLDPE, etc.). SVETLITSA™ remains in service on greenhouses for at least 7 years, even in regions with difficult climatic conditions.Greenhouse film efficiency
The light transmission in the greenhouse under SVETLITSA™ film is higher than under its polyethylene counterpart. The light transmittance in photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) is up to 92%.Spectral characteristics of SVETLITSA™ film
The characteristics are optimal for growing sprouts, vegetables, as well as fruits, flowers, and seedlings. The transmission coefficient in the area of hard ultraviolet radiation can be adjusted from 0 to 88%.For the cultivation of shade-loving plants, a reflective, light-scattering greenhouse film is designed SVETLITSA™ LIGHT REFLECTIVE.
Hothouse film production
- The film withstands hail, sudden temperature changes, harsh, and snowy winters. Even in severe frost, the SVETLITSA ™ greenhouse film retains elasticity. Snow can be removed from the surface of the greenhouse without tearing the film.
- The surface of SVETLITSA™ film is hydrophilic, and its contact angle is 45 - 55°. (For low-density polyethylene films it is 70-84°). Condensation droplets form flat and shallow, flowing down the walls of the greenhouse rather than dripping.*
- The SVETLITSA™ greenhouse film has an excellent heat-retaining effect. The transmittance in the region of thermal radiation is 35 - 39%. The temperature in the greenhouse at night and during the cold snap is 2-4°C higher than under the polyethylene coating. The microclimate is better than under ordinary polyethylene films, creating conditions for increasing yields.
SVETLITSA™ greenhouse film properties
- During the operation of the SVETLITSA ™ greenhouse film, unlike polyethylene, numerous small cracks are not formed, gradually filling with dust. It is significantly less dusty, without losing the ability to transmit light.
- SVETLITSA™ film covers both large agro-industrial greenhouses, and small hothouses in Russia (from the western regions to the shores of the Pacific Ocean, from the Arkhangelsk region to the shores of the Black and Caspian seas), Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, and Slovenia.
- Film for greenhouses SVETLITSA™ has been tested and received positive results in St. Petersburg State Agrarian University, All-Russian Research Institute of Floriculture, and subtropical crops of the Russian Academy of Agriculture (Sochi), in agrarian complexes of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Slovenia.
- For the development of SVETLITSA ™ films and participation in exhibitions, "NPF "SHAR" has been awarded more than 50 diplomas from various exhibitions..
- SVETLITSA™ film is certified.
- Perennial high-strength copolymer greenhouse films SVETLITSA ™ are always in stock by the company.
- Durability of SVETLITSA™ greenhouse film
- The service life of the film is at least 7 years. The key to the durability of the SVETLITSA ™ film is proper installation and operation as well as the absence of abnormally aggressive external factors.
